Sabudana Vada

Today am going to share my favorite recipe of Sabudana.This recipe is usually made to go with tea time/breakfast as well as fasting days including Rajgira (aka royal Grain) puri, sabudana khichadi, etc… This recipe can be eaten with chutney or yogurt.So without wasting any other minute lets get started with……

Sabudana Vada.!

Sabudana vada

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Sabudana (Sago)

2 Boiled, peeled and mashed Potato

Roasted peanuts

2 to 3 Green chilies

Cumin seeds

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

METHOD:

1.Wash the sabudana then drain and keep it aside for minimum 2 hrs

2.In a bowl mix sabudana, mashed potato,green chilles and peanuts

3.Now make small portions of this mixture and shape it flat and round .These are called ‘vada’

4.Heat oil into a deep cooking pot then add the vada ,after  few mins flip the vada when its light brown and cook the other side the same ways.
