Review : Stay Quirky Nail polishes

Hey friends….how are you doing? 🙂 Well finally I got the admission process done & all I have to wait is for the college to start :D. And so the shopping process starts here. Well every girl wants to look her best in the college 😉  hahhahahha…….well I actually found this nail polish that I have been looking for a long time & its

“STAY QUIRKY NAIL POLISHES”

This is a new brand from Pune, Maharashtra. Recently when I was browsing the shopping sites, I found Purplle.com a beauty destination for all your beauty needs. There’s makeup, hair products, skin care products, etc

Well coming to the main topic i.e. nail polish well you all know am a fan of nail arts and finding a best polish is the important thing and specially at a right shade.

Recently I brought 6 polishes from the purple. They were the best of my expectations. Right shade perfect brush and cute bottles.

So here is the picture of all the stuff i bought:

shopping

And here’s the nail polishes:

stay quirky nail polishes

And here’s  what one stroke of each polishes except shade 513 looks like:

Gel Finish Pink-a-licious 202

202 shades

Gel Finish Think Pink 335

335 shades

Blue sky line 375

375shade

Brown Dream in Polish 492

492shade

Gel Finish Red Goodness 527

527shades

To start with I applied only one stroke to test whether they chipped or smelled bad. But to my surprise nothing such happened. This polish has thick brush and hence it spreads over easily. It dries relatively faster. The top of my nails had some polish wore off after five days, but it was barely noticeable & what you expect from just one coat of polish. And the best thing was it didn’t smell as compared to my old polishes. And all the shade i loved except the 513 because it seemed to be like shade 375. Also the shade 202 335 & 527 are different sorry my photo could not portray so because i have a bad camera 😦 And the shade i ❤ the most is Gel Finish Red Goodness 527

They are nice to use and affordable at just Rs. 40 each. Go ahead, dazzle and sizzle by painting your nails with the shade that you can truly call ‘My Shade’ ^^’ . And now i’l get started with some nail arts with these polishes & share with you soon.

Bye…take care 🙂

Peacock feather Nail art

I try experimenting with nail polishes and learn new nail art as a hobby.Trying new polishes new styles is fun for me. But sometimes the nail art  turns out awesome, and sometime not.But that doesn’t stop me from trying all crazy ideas that keep boggling my mind, because i am a learner and will always be one. Some years back i realized i love long nails. But growing nails is not easy, especially when u are a teen who has loads of stuff to do {u know what am saying…right ;)} and have to help with the home duties as well. But thank God i never broke my nails while doing the dishes. I always break one while fighting with brother 😥  .As u may have noticed in the pictures i have a short nail and i blame my brother for that he should have given me the TV remote without arguing but no he did not and i wasn’t gonna back-out either, so we had a fight. But at the end i WON hhahhaha……… 😆  Do you fight with your brother? If yes share a funny story about it and lets all laugh about together :D.

Anyways lets skip the fight scene and move on with some nail art….! Today i’l be sharing my way to do peacock feather as nail art. Its super quick and mesmerizing, works on all occasions as well.

The polishes i used are:

So what are we waiting for lets get started…

First step is to apply white polish or you can apply any desired polish, 2 coats is all you need to apply.{The botanics polish i used lasted for 8 days which is good.And did not chip at all.Am happy to have used it 🙂 }

Then draw an big oval shape such that its stretched up and down so as to get the following shape{ 🙄 Psst! i don’t know what shape is this exactly} But take a look at the picture and follow 🙂

step1Then draw a slant line starting from the bottom of the oval towards the tip of your nail. But do keep a little space at the tip. That’s gonna make the feather look artistic 😉

step2Now all we have is easiest work to finish….Draw several lines starting from top towards the tip on both sides of the slant line like palm tree leaves.Only the first two lines must be stretched enough to cover the oval shape on the sides.Whereas the other lines must keep decreasing in length so as to give a feather look.

step3Now color the center of the oval in golden polish and let it dry. Also put few strokes of golden polish on the outer lines of feather. But take care not to over do it.

step4When the golden polish dries up add small amount of blue polish (or turquoise) if u have in the center of golden polish

step5Now add a dot of black polish in the center of blue polish.

step6

And here we have the peacock feather.Apply top coat when the polish dries up.You can draw the feather upside-down as well. That looks pretty as well 😉

Go ahead get started with your creativity.

Till next time then, Be happy and stay positive 🙂

BYE…!

Green & White Nail art

Well this weekend my sister got me this green color so i decided to give it a try.

So friends let get started
Nail Art

the nail polishes i used are:

A green, white and sparkle nail polish, base coat and top coat

Nail polishFirstly apply clear base coat to your nail so as to protect your nails from stained yellowish color.{Sometimes when i just have no time for manicure all i do is just apply base coat and leave it on.Thus it protects my nails as well as saves time for future nail art 🙂 }  Well that’s a TIP for today

When your base coat is dried up apply two coats of your choice color nail polish so as to give it a desirable look.

nail polishThen using a striper brush make a small leaf like shape at the left upper side of ur nail pointing out. Then make another big leaf like shape pointing downwards and almost covering ur whole nail.Make two curved lines coming from the right side of big leaf shape art as shown in the following picture:

green and white

Now to give it a little sparkle using a striper brush inside the leaf shapes either on one side or you could fill it up.Its all up to you.

After it dries up seal it with a top coat. That’s a wrap 😉

Come on now its your turn to give this nail art a try & do post a pictures of  it with different color of your choices.

Till next time then.Be happy and stay positive 🙂
